Matilda laps it up for an important cause

MATILDA Andrews (left) raised more than $1000 for Youth Live4Life, an organisation created to support young people in regional towns improve their mental health and reduce the prevalence of suicide in the community. Andrews swum 1000 laps to help promote the cause, with friend Gracie Walder having singled her out as the right person for the job.

Young Portlander Matilda Andrews finished her goal of swimming 1000 laps to help raise money and awareness for Youth Live4Life, a charity specifically set up to help support regional and rural communities in improving their wellbeing and mental health.
