Sometimes there is such thing as a free lunch

THE Rotary Club of Portland have for years run a program to keep all the district’s schools stocked with sandwiches to give to students who come to school each month, President Peter Taylor says demand has risen in recent years, but they are committed to meeting it.

ONCE a month, the Portland Soccer Club rooms turn into a sandwich making factory, producing hundreds of lunches to be distributed among the district’s schools for students who go without.
