Could it be? After years of pleading, rail line fix might be in sight

ys it is hopeful that the federal government will finally commit to funding the Maroona-Portland rail line upgrade in May, when it hands down its next Budget.

While there was no money for the upgrade in the recent Budget, the new government’s first, Port chief executive Greg Tremewen said there had been plenty going on behind the scenes.
