Koala concerns as street tree removed

Koalas are a regular sighting in Portland streets, though the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) say that interactions with humans are usually to the detriment of the animals.

ANOTHER Norfolk Island Hibiscus, or itchy bomb tree, is set to be removed from a central Portland nature strip, with some residents concerned about the impact on the local koala population.
