JACK Doeven has seen it all in his 30 years growing wine grapes at Drumborg, but nothing like an unwanted hat-trick just brought up with the recent harvest. But despite a disappointing yield, there’s always a bright side – if Mr Doeven is right, mark down 2022 as a vintage to savour.
