WILL Hardie came to Portland as a cricket player but said his experience of the community so far has been about so much more than the game. He recently sat down with the Observer to discuss what life has been like thousands of kilometres away from his home in the UK.

STAR cricketer Will Hardie came to Portland from the United Kingdom to make runs and take wickets, and while he’s done plenty of that (when the cricket has actually been on), his trip Down Under has been about a whole lot more.
